a little about me

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME.

Born and raised in Provence, I’ve called Paris home for over a decade now.

Two very different worlds, both close to my heart. The softness and warmth of the South, the energy and endless inspiration of Paris. I like to think a little of both has found its way into how I see the world, and ultimately, how I photograph it.

I’ve always been someone who holds onto memories. The smallest details, the things people say without thinking, the moments that seem ordinary at the time but stay with us for years.

Perhaps that’s part of what drew me to photography.

I’m endlessly fascinated by people and the beautiful unpredictability of human relationships. A glance exchanged when no one is watching, a nervous hand reaching for another, laughter that takes everyone by surprise. Those little, unscripted moments are often the ones I find myself looking for.

My approach is documentary and intuitive. I observe, anticipate, and leave room for things to happen naturally, without trying to turn every moment into a photograph.

But being discreet doesn’t mean being distant.

I love getting to know people, making them feel comfortable, sharing a laugh, and knowing when a little guidance or reassurance can make all the difference.

Eyes open, heart beating.

I’m there for the unexpected, the beautifully imperfect, and everything in between. For the stories that unfold in their own way, and the photographs that allow us to revisit them years later.

FIVE LITTLE THINGS ABOUT ME

1. A rather unexpected career change.

Before photography, I spent seven years studying law and three years working in the legal field, including at Paris Court of Appeal. Quite a different words, isn’t it ? But my love for structure, attention to detail and a job well done definitely came along for the ride.

2. When I love something, I really love it.

I can listen to the same song for hours or binge an entire series in one sitting. Some might call it obsessive. I prefer to think of it as dedication. Surprisingly useful when you spend hours sorting through and editing photographs !

03. I share my home with a very handsome, very unimpressed cat.

His name is Brisket, and he’s fully convinced the world revolves around him. I’m not entirely sure he’s wrong.

04. Life needs a soundtrack.

There’s almost always music playing when I’m working. Some songs become so closely tied to certain moments that hearing them years later takes me straight back. Maybe that’s another reason I’m so attached to memories.

05. A tidy space, a happy mind.

I genuinely struggle to focus when things are out of place. I love beautiful spaces, harmony, and a certain sense of order. A funny contrast for someone whose favorite photographs are often the most beautifully chaotic ones.

Enough about me. Tell me about you.
